Introduction to Conveyancing

 

The CLC’s new micro course is an excellent introduction to the basics of conveyancing. No prior knowledge or experience is needed. The course is accredited and certificated by the SQA.

 

Who will benefit from this course?

Pitched at Level 2, this course will be invaluable for any non-lawyer joining a conveyancing practice for the first time.

Estate agents, property managers, landlord and home-movers will find that it provides important insight into, and understanding of, the property transfer process.

 

Award in Conveyancing: An Introduction for Property Professionals

 

This qualification covers the following topics:

  • What is Conveyancing?
  • Office skills and professional conduct.
  • What is title to land and what is freehold and leasehold?
  • What your conveyancer does.

These modules are followed by a short assessment that draws from the topics covered across the course.

This qualification may be available through training providers and colleges and can be offered in England and Wales.
