Probate Apprenticeship Announced

A consortium of probate practices and experts, supported by the CLC, has been successful in its application to develop an apprenticeship in Probate as part of the Government’s Trailblazer 3 scheme. The consortium has the following members who between them bring a great breadth of experience and insight and who will also be consulting widely as development of the apprenticeship progresses.

This news follows the success of the consortium that developed a conveyancing apprenticeship as part of Trailblazer 2, also supported by the CLC. The CLC and all consortium members are committed to developing new routes to qualification as specialist lawyers to provide a robust pipeline of talent to the profession and to widen access, making the legal profession more diverse and inclusive.

Through the trailblazers initiative organisations like the Council for Licensed Conveyancers, in collaboration with their industry partners, will give people the skills they need to thrive and our businesses need to compete.”
