Licence Renewal – Important Information

The CLC’s annual licence renewal is approaching and if you intend to continue being regulated by the CLC you must apply to receive your licence before Thursday 31 October 2024.

We have written recently to all CLC Licence Holders with the information below.

Licence Holders should also have in place arrangements to complete the mandatory ongoing competence/CPD activity and have your training record signed by your employer. This must be available for the CLC to see on request, but does not need to be submitted to us by email.

Important reminders and the renewal timetable.

  1. In combination your unique identifiers are:
  • Your CLC Licence Number
  • Your name as it appears on your Licence
  • Your personal email address as registered with the CLC.

All renewal correspondence, digital and finance processes use these three unique identifiers.

  1. Important deadlines for 2024.
    1. Monday 02 September – Notice of intention not to renew (if applicable)
    2. Monday 30 September – Declaration submission
    3. Monday 28 October – Payment of licence fees
  1. Licence Holders will receive correspondence from:
  1. Renewal correspondence – renewal@clc-uk.org
  2. Annual Declaration – dse@eumail.docusign.net
  3. Invoice and payment – messaging-service@post.xero.com

Please add the above email addresses to your safe recipients list.

Please sign and return the 2024-25 digital renewal declaration from DocuSign, no later than 30th September.

  1. If you do not intend to renew your licence for 2024-25, please notify renewal@clc-uk.org and tell us from the list below, why you do not intend to renew your licence.
  1. Career break
  2. Parental leave
  3. Dual licensed and CLC licence no longer required
  4. Retirement
  5. Currently non-practising

Important notes:

Invitation to the licence renewal process is without prejudice of the outcome of any investigations and future action that the CLC may take against licensed holders.

When a disclosure of adverse information has been made during the course of renewing a past year’s licence, or in a recent licence application. The CLC will confirm separately what, if any additional information and steps are required to proceed to renew a licence.
