The Council and Governance Arrangements

Here you can find about the governing Council of the CLC.

There is a lay (non-lawyer) majority and there are professional
members with experience in conveyancing and probate too.

Members are appointed for terms of four years, which can
be renewed once.

The CLC's Audit and Risk Committee also has an additional,
independent member from an audit background.

The Corporate Governance Framework sets out the
governance arrangements for the CLC.

We maintain a register of interests for the Council.
